Motörhead's new album out in August

Motörhead's newest album will be titled Bad Magic. The band confirmed the news via their website and social networks. The record, their 22nd studio album overall, is scheduled fore release on August 28th through UDR Music. According to their press release, Bad Magic has "the fiercest rhythms and riffs that'll beat your ears into submission this year" and is "a massive kick in the teeth for anyone who dared believe it might be otherwise" (no surprises here...)

The album includes such standout rockers as "Thunder and Lightning", "Teach 'em How to Bleed", "Choking on Your Screams", the punk-infused "Electricity" and the attitude-filled "Shoot out All Your Lights". Fans will also find Motörhead taking it down a notch for a ballad "Until the End" (late day Motörhead records occasionally feature a ballad) and the band also rock a gritty cover of the Rolling Stones' "Sympathy for the Devil". The record also includes a guest appearance by Queen guitarist Brian May, who lends his guitar skills to a track called "The Devil".

Bad Magic was produced at NRG studios by the band's longtime producer Cameron Webb and follows on the heels of their successful 2013 outing, Aftershock. It will be available in standard CD, limited edition box set, digipack, vinyl and digital formats.
